Mr. Debjit Rudra has a versatile experience of around 30 years in the FMCG and Pharma industry
Mr. Debjit joins us from Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, where he was responsible for Emerging MarketsAsia Pacific, LATAM, Eastern Europe and Africa as the Executive Vice President and Head of Strategic Projects. He handled COVID product portfolio P&L for India and Emerging markets (Sputnik V, Remdesivir, Favipiravir, 2DG and Molnupiravir). Debjit also served as a Director of China Joint Venture Board (Dr. Reddys and Rotam group) to oversee the Gout and Central Nervous System business.
Prior to this he was responsible for GSK Consumer Health Care Southeast Asia &Taiwan business P&L and lead a team across 11 South East Asian countries as Area Vice President and General Manager. He also managed factories along with the supply chain in Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia.
Mr. Debjit started his career with Hindustan Unilever as a Management Trainee, Sales and Marketing and handled various roles in Sales and Marketing. He was associated with the group for almost 22 years. He was the Vice President - Household Care Category for Unilever, Asia Pacific region and was responsible for Household Care Asia (South Asia, Southeast Asia, North Asia and ANZ). In his role as Vice President - Marketing Operations (Indian Sub-Continent), he represented the Indian Subcontinent in key regional and global category leadership team meetings to drive alignment of deliverables to the Indian Subcontinent business. In his stint as Sales Director, South India, the region, contributed to 31% of Hindustan Unilever turnover.
Mr. Debjit Rudra is a B.Tech (Electronics) from IIT, Kharagpur and MBA (Marketing) from IIM, Bangalore.
